AI Strategy for Your Business
Begin with the work already taking place

An AI strategy starts with an accurate picture of your business. Talk to staff and document which AI tools they use, what information they enter, and how they check the results. Include features built into existing software as well as separate chat services. Unapproved use may reflect an unmet need, but it can also expose information or introduce errors that management never sees.
Record the purpose, frequency, benefit, and risk of each use. A polished answer or a faster draft does not establish an improvement if correcting it takes longer than the original task. Available capabilities depend on the subscription, integrations, and permissions in place. Confirm what the proposed arrangement can actually access and do before planning work around it.
Decide where adoption matters
Consider work that is repetitive, slow, or dependent on assembling information from several places. Compare the current time, cost, and quality with what a controlled trial could achieve. Consider how competitors could perform similar work more efficiently and what that would mean for your own service and pricing.
The financial implications deserve attention alongside the human ones. Decide what improved capacity would be used for, which responsibilities might change, and where human judgment must remain part of the process.
Define acceptable use and priorities
Identify approved tools, permitted information, review requirements, and actions that require separate authorization. Give someone responsibility for approving new uses and keeping the plan current. Staff need a clear route for asking about a useful application that has not yet been approved.
Choose a manageable first project with a named owner, a budget, and a measurable outcome. The strategy should produce decisions that guide work: what to try, what to restrict, what to defer, and what would justify expanding. Review those decisions as the business and its tools change.
We’re here to help and have structured services to address each of these areas individually or as part of a coordinated plan. To discuss what deserves attention first, contact your Sandbox Technologies Account Manager or Consulting CIO.
